Kinross Mens Shed Shedder Roy is taking the @cyclotricity_ltd Wallet folding bike for a free week trial. Roy will use it instead of his car and in real world situations and report to the company and our Kinross Shed. We are currently building the amazing ebike at our Shed as well for free loan to the guys to aid well-being mens health and reduce social isolation.

The open learning day was a great success and had an amazing turnout as well. We shared our vision of future use of EBikes and how they are going to brilliant use for those with mobility issues. Fantastic Catering was also provided by Tayside Contracts, highly recommend their variety in choice of select food - https://www.tayside-contracts.co.uk/catering/ Thanks to NHS Healthy Communities Officer Shona Fowler, P&KC Learning and Development Officer Tracey Ramsay and Tim Green Age Scotland Mens Shed Officer, charge nurses from PRI that carried out men’s health screening, Historic Environment Scotland for supplying Stonemasons for carving sessions, Citizens Advice for advice on Benefits, Scams and funding info and to Sheds from Perthshire and Clackmannanshire. Also to special thanks Perth and Kinross Council at the Loch Leven Community Campus for hosting the event. |
